ACTION MOVIES👍👍👍
Action Movie (film) is a fil genre in which the protagonist is thrust into a series of events that typically involve violence and physical feats. The genre tends to feature a mostly resourceful hero struggling against incredible odds, which include life-threatening situations, a dangerous villain, or a pursuit which usually concludes in victory for the hero.
Advancements in (CGI) have made it cheaper and easier to create action sequences and other visual effects that required the efforts of professional stunt crews in the past. However, reactions to action films containing significant amounts of CGI have been mixed, as some films use CGI to create unrealistic, highly unbelievable events. While action has long been a recurring component in films, the "action film" genre began to develop in the 1970s along with the increase of stunts and special effects.
This genre is closely associated with the thriller and adventure genres and may also contain elements of drama and spy fiction. Screenwriter and scholar Eric R. Williams identifies action film as one of eleven super-genres in his screenwriters' taxonomy, claiming that all feature-length narrative films can be classified by these super-genres. The other super-genres are crime, fantasy, horror, romance, science fiction, slice of life, sports, thriller, war, and western.
BEST ACTION MOVIES😊😊😊
First Blood (1982)
John Rambo would become increasingly cartoonish as the sequels went on, but in the original, he was just a scared veteran trying to survive out in the real world.
The Raid 2: Redemption (2014)
The Raid was more frenzied, but the sequel (also written and directed by Gareth Evans) got grand, introducing an intricate crime-drama plot. Didn’t matter: Redemption is brilliantly violent, a ballet of broken bones, perfect punches and crazy car chases.
Ong-Bak (2003)
The film marked the breakout moment for Muy Thai martial artist Tony Jaa and the beginning of one of the best action franchises ever. There’s not a lot of fakery in Jaa’s fight scenes. Dudes are getting punched for real.
Sam Hargraves Extraction is one of the best Netflix original action movies, and when a sequel was quickly green lit, we couldn't wait. Now, three years later with Extraction 2, we were not disappointed. Of course, the action is stunning, with a nearly 30-minute long take that sees Chris Hemsworth's Tyler Rake take out an army of prisoners and guards in a prison riot, a barrage of cars in an epic car chase, and finally, a helicopter on a thrilling fight sequence on a train, all in one take. The story is far more interesting than the first, and this sequel sets up many spin-offs and sequels that we can't wait to see.
Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves
Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is one of the best movies of the year, period. It offers up an energy very similar to that of the Pirate of the Caribbean movies, and results in a hilarious, and whimsical adventure. The cast was perfect, with the likes of Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Hugh Grant, Sophia Lillis, Justice Smith, and Regé-Jean Page, who all give incredible performances with fantastic chemistry. On top of that, the movie's action was sensational, and even has an Avengers moment that sees all our heroes fight the antagonist in an exhilarating long take.
